Description
Oregano essential oil contains two main substances from which its biological actions are derived. These are carvacrol and thymol, these two phenolic compounds work in combination and in smaller quantities the following substances are detected:
α-pinene
linalyl acetate
camphene
methylcarvacrol
6-methyl-3-heptanol
p-cimene
calemene
linalool
undecane and but
in oregano we also find:
iron and vitamin C.
Oregano essential oil promotes health and has strong antibiotic properties. It has excellent antifungal properties, acts against it (candida albicans) has antibacterial action and helps treat inflammation and viruses, can also relieve muscle pain.
May help:
for nail and finger fungi
for irritable bowel syndrome and intestinal atony
Uses
For inhalations, put boiling water in a cup, add 2-3 drops of oregano oil and inhale in case of colds.
You can also put a drop of oregano oil on a towel and place it under your pillow.
For nail fungus Dilute one part oregano essential oil with 1 part olive oil and apply a patch to the area you want.
For the treatment of Candida Ablicans or other bacteria, consult your doctor how to use it.
Precautions
Oregano essential oil can reduce your body’s ability to absorb iron.
All pure essential oils can not be used directly on the skin except with the appropriate
